"Akademischer Rat" (Post-Doc, 6 years) for research in audio information processing in the group of Bernhard U Seeber

We are inviting applications to fill a key position in our team with an experienced Research Scientist (Akademischer Rat, Post-Doc) employed in full time for up to 6 years to start on 11 November 2013. The research will focus on on one or more of the following areas: psychoacoustics; models of auditory and neuronal processing in the normal and impaired ear; auditory brain-computer interfaces; signal processing for hearing devices, audio technology, and the synthesis of sound fields; sound quality. The position is suited for a experienced candidate wanting to establish themselves in academia through excellent contributions to research and by gaining experience in teaching. The position is also suited for a post-doctoral candidate indending to do research in our core areas.
